Iii. Installation and Maintenance Instructions
Installation steps
Turn off the engine and release the pressure of the cooling system;
Disassemble the old sensor and clean the threaded holes.
Apply sealant (high-temperature resistant type) and tighten the new sensor (torque 20-25 N·m);
Connect the wiring harness, start the engine and detect the ECU data stream.
Troubleshooting: If the water temperature alarm on the dashboard or the data is abnormal, check for a short circuit or open circuit in the wiring harness or the resistance value of the sensor (approximately 2.5kΩ at 25°C).
