Key steps of preprocessing:
Clean the joint surface between the cylinder head and the cylinder block to ensure there is no oil stain or carbon deposit (wire brushes are prohibited).
Check the flatness of the cylinder head (deformation ≤0.05mm). If it exceeds the tolerance, it needs to be milled for repair.
Torque fastening sequence
Tighten the cylinder head bolts in a cross sequence in three steps: first 30N·m → second 60N·m → final 90° rotation Angle 4.
After the cold machine is running, tighten it once to prevent loosening due to thermal expansion.
